Fandango's Limited Edition 'Catching Fire' Gift Cards Now Available

Fandango has just released their limited edition The Hunger Games: Catching Fire gift cards. You can choose from 12 Victors posters or the recently released final Katniss poster when custom designing your gift card. You can also upload a photo and design your own card. There are several denominations to choose from starting at $15.00 up to $100.00.

New Peeta Poster Spotted in Times Square New York

Subway + 'Catching Fire' Promos and Contests Coming Soon

Looks like the Subway + Catching Fire promotional tie-ins will be ramping up very soon. Quarter Quell spotted some Catching Fire drink cups today, and Subway's own website has a landing page for a Catching Fire contest starting on October 31st. The contest, titled "Win Your Own Victory Tour," has some great looking prizes including a trip to the Catching Fire premiere in L.A. and a "VIP Concert Experience."

Lionsgate and Coke Partner for Spin & Send Game to Unlock Posters and Ringtone

Lionsgate has partnered with Coke on a new website cokecatchingfire featuring a fun game called Spin & Send. Send a Coke and unlock one of 8 Catching Fire postes and a ringtone.

New 'Catching Fire' Posters Revealed

Select movie theatres in the US have begun using Catching Fire drink cups and popcorn buckets featuring Katniss and the Catching Fire mockingjay logo, AND a QR code that unlocks these exclusive new posters. Thanks to our friends at QuarterQuell.org,  we've got our first look at the new Catching Fire posters. According to the admin on this facebook page, you can also unlock the "four note" ringtone with the QR code. Time to head to a movie!

NECA to Release 'Catching Fire' Trading Cards in October

Did you get your hands on the Hunger Games trading cards last year? NECA is releasing The Hunger Games: Catching Fire versions next month. Sports Images Inc just released an order newsletter for trading card sellers including the Catching Fire cards.

The Catching Fire set will consist of 40 base cards, and will be sold in packs of 6 cards each. The cards will "capture all the drama and suspense" of Catching Fire, according to the description. New stills!?!?

First Look at the Katniss 'Catching Fire' Barbie

Back in June, the Doll Genie told us there would be some Catching Fire Barbie dolls coming our way in October. The first images of the Katniss dolls have hit the interwebs. In addition to Katniss, There will be Effie, Finnick, and Peeta dolls available for 29.95 (pre-order here) to 34.99 here.

Katniss' incredibly thick hair can be used as a weapon in the arena.

It seems like Effie would be the perfect candidate for her own Barbie! No photos available yet, but her doll's description is: Now that she's escorting her tributes on a cross-country Victory Tour, this always-fashionable devotee of Capitol Couture gets to be in her favorite place of all: the spotlight. The Effie doll wears a metallic blue dress inspired by the costume worn in the film. Included are signature accessories: golden collar and belt and metallic net gloves.

It features constellations and imagery from the official video.

Official Mockingjay Pin Available for Pre-Order

Spirit Halloween stores have the official prop replica Mockingjay Pins available for pre-order on their website. These are very similar to the Mockingjay pins Lionsgate gave away at San Diego Comic Con in July. The pins are expected to ship 9/30/2013. Pre-order yours here for $9.99.

Catching Fire costume designer Trish Summerville sat down with Allie Merriam from PopSugar right before her big night at the 2013 Style Awards to talk Catching Fire and the Capitol Couture capsule collection for Net-A-Porter.
