Jennifer Lawrence at the 2014 Oscars

Jennifer Lawrence didn't take home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar last night - that went to Lupita Nyong'o - but she presented Best Actor and definitely had one hell of a night. She fell on the red carpet, ate pizza during the ceremony, and was part of the world's most epic selfie. It was almost more fun watching Jen be Jen than watching the actual show (though Ellen killed it. Ellen please host everything. Or everything that Tina Fey and Amy Pohler aren't hosting).

Jennifer tripped on a cone exiting her limo. It was the same color as her orange/red Dior dress. She said, "I did trip over  a cone. I'm...not safe."

Jennifer talked to E!'s Ryan Seacrest about her fall:

Jennifer talking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet:

Jen talking about the "year off" rumors with MTV News' Josh Horowitz:

Ellen made fun of Jennifer Lawrence falling and compared the Oscars to The Hunger Games:

Ellen ordered pizza during the show and Jennifer was totally into it:

Jen was part of World's Greatest Selfie during the show! It actually is the most retweeted tweet in history, at 2.7 million retweets when we last checked. Go Ellen!

When it was her turn to present Best Actor she scolded someone in the audience:

She playfully tried to "steal" Lupita's Oscar backstage. Oh, hey Jared Leto:

And this:

Thanks for being the most fun, charming and entertaining part of Oscar night, Jennifer!

Dior has just revealed the "making-of" the Miss Dior handbag campaign video starring Jennifer Lawrence and shot by Patrick Demarchelier. The campaign is also now featured on the Dior website along with some new photos.

At the tender age of only twenty-three, she's already an international star, a major actress who's been awarded some of cinema's greatest distinctions, a young beauty radiating charm in an haute couture dress on red carpets the world over. But in the new campaign for the Miss Dior  bag she seems to have returned to simply being Miss Lawrence and to playing her own personal role - that of a young woman of today. Filled with freshness and spontaneity, she looks into photographer Patrick Demarchelier's camera lens with a sense of assurance, expressing all the captivating charm of her natural femininity.

Jennifer Lawrence Talks Award Season and 'American Hustle' with Deadline

Jennifer Lawrence's Best Supporting Actress Oscar odds are definitely looking more favorable after her Golden Globe win and her surprising (for some) BAFTA win. She recently spoke with Deadline about being nominated for multiple awards this season for her turn in American Hustle, her collaboration with David O. Russell, and her BAFTA win:

“Oh, it was a big surprise,” she told me when she took a few minutes away from shooting. “I didn’t remember that the BAFTAs were happening that day. I certainly did not think I was going to win one so I put it out of my mind,” she said. “So there I was, in the middle of being painted blue, and someone said, ‘You just won the BAFTA!’ And I said, ‘Oh, go fuck yourself!’ And then it turned out they were serious.”

“It has been a bit of a blessing to be away, and not really aware of what has been going on,” she told me. “It actually has been really nice.” She has just begun thinking about all that pageantry, the dress fittings, coming up with interesting things to say on the red carpet. It has begun making her nervous. She wonders if she will ever get good at it though it’s hard to imagine she’ll get off to as rocky a start as last year, when she fell on the stairs to accept her award, and then spent her backstage interview explaining her fall and whether she worried about peaking at age 22.

“Exciting? I’m trying to go back to that place where dress fittings seemed exciting,” she jokes. “I’ve had one fitting here in Atlanta and I think I have the final fitting on the day of the awards. So I just hope it fits.” I suggest that running for her life as Katniss, coupled with the pressure of filming scenes as the nearly naked blue-skinned Mystique in X-Men, is probably better for dress fittings than months of banquet foods. “I hope you’re right,” she said.

As for whether she has gotten the Oscar thing down, Lawrence said: “Ha! Have you not seen my last Oscar moment? I handled myself so well. I think it’s really unfair to make a person speak in front of the entire world at a moment like that because it is just so overwhelming. It was terrifying and what I regret now is not doing what you’re supposed to, which is even having a few words, something, that you can say, or even some idea if they do call your name. Every time my mind when there, I would feel so much anxiety that I couldn’t think about it. Then when they called me, I got up on stage and said happy birthday to Emmanuelle Riva from Amour, and then I walked off without even thanking David, or Harvey Weinstein.”

She dismisses my suggestion that her speech, complete with the staircase stumble, was somehow charming. “It looked like I was drunk,” she said. “I did learn, though, not to let the dress gather in the front when you walk up the stairs.”

Lawrence said the thing she was most excited about this year was the chance to celebrate this unusual character she played in Rosalyn Rosenfeld, the needy wife of two-timing conman Irving Rosenfeld that she and Russell brought to life together. This was not even supposed to be Lawrence’s role. After completing Silver Linings Playbook and all that press, Lawrence mostly just wanted a short vacation before turning up for another Hunger Games installment.

“I had been working a lot and a vacation seemed important until I met Rosalyn,” Lawrence told me, “and then there was nothing in the world I wanted to do more and I realized this would be more refreshing than an actual vacation. David sent me the script, and then we just started creating her piece by piece. He has this amazing contagious energy that makes me feel like, whatever he asks, you go for it. Even the kissing scene with Amy. I said, David, no. He says, trust me, it will work. No, David. Even after we did it I thought, no way. And then I see it, and it absolutely does work. I can’t explain [the dynamic between us], but his incredible fire just pushes you to do things you didn’t know you were capable of.”

Elizabeth Banks Talks Jennifer Lawrence & Playing Effie "She's One of My All Time Favorites"

Elizabeth Banks is currently supporting The Listerine 21 Day Challenge, which supports Oral Health America’s Smiles Across America program in their goal of connecting at-risk children with needed access to oral care. She snapped her own “Swish Selfie” on the red carpet at the launch of the challenge on Thursday to trigger an immediate donation of $21,000 to Oral Health America.

Talk at the Los Angeles event inevitably turned to Jennifer Lawrence, Mockingjay and Philip Seymour Hoffman:

So, speaking of things that ladies love, give us some inside scoop about hanging with JLaw?
Well, recently everyone surprised me on the set of Mockingjay with a birthday cake! That was really fun. And, of course, the first person to delve into my cake was Jennifer. I will say she’s a girl who likes to eat and I love that about her.

As far as the Hunger Games go, are there any surprises hardcore fans of the book won’t see coming?
Honestly, I can’t say anything about Mockingjay! Ahhh!! We’ll both end up hurt somewhere! I think the hardcore fans can expect exactly what both The Hunger Games and Catching Fire delivered, Mockingjay is going to be as faithful a rendition of Suzanne’s Collins’s world and books and characters as we can put out!

“I am almost done,” she said. “I’m going to miss playing Effie, she’s one of my all-time favorite characters. I have such a ball with her & this cast & I will miss it. It’s absorbing because we still put the movies out so we’ll still have our little reunions, which I’m looking forward to. I have two more years of getting reunited with all these wonderful people!”

And what was it like to work with Philip Seymour Hoffman?
I’d really rather not discuss it. He was an incredible actor that I respected greatly and I will miss tremendously.

Repainted Katniss Barbie Sold for Almost 2k

Maybe you've never seen the work of master doll repaint artist Noel Cruz because realistic dolls just creep you the hell out. OK, maybe that's just me. But we'll get over our fears (and see our therapist) to show you his AMAZING repaint of the Katniss Barbie. Cruz took the pretty decent to-begin-with doll and turned her into a lifelike masterpiece, complete with a new, realistic-sized braid. Remember the Braid of Unusual Size she was sporting before?

Want one? Well, sorry, you can't have one. She sold yesterday for $1980.55 on eBay. Holy CRAP.

See more of Mr. Cruz seriously unbelievable work HERE. Yep, now I'm fascinated. He even has other Jennifer Lawrence dolls.
