Stanley Tucci Talks 'Mockingjay' and Caesar Flickerman With MTV

Stanley Tucci finished his work on the upcoming two-part Mockingjay a few months ago, only on set for a handful of days before putting the role of flamboyant talk show host Caesar Flickerman to bed for good. He talked with MTV's Josh Horowitz about Mockingjay, the cast, and saying goodbye to Caesar.

“In the last two, he has a bit less to do,” Tucci said. “But it was great nonetheless. They’re great movies.”

Even though his final moments with the character were brief, Tucci cherished the opportunity to sink those pearly-white teeth into Caesar one last time.

“Those are great people, and it’s such a fun character. So much fun,” he said. “I got to know Woody Harrelson, who I adore. Josh and Jennifer, of course. The loveliest people. Lovely people.”

“I was very sad to say goodbye to them,” he continued. “You don’t always feel that way when you finish a movie.”

Rumor: 'Catching Fire' at Cannes?

Showbiz 411 is reporting that there could be some footage shown and some kind of presentation for Catching Fire at the Cannes Film Festival May 15-26, 2013.

But what else? I can tell you exclusively that at least footage and some kind of presentation will be made for the second chapter of The Hunger Games, called Catching Fire. This is a good way to get newly crowned Best Actress Jennifer Lawrence into Cannes, along with castmates like Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Toby Jones.
This is a rumor until confirmed by Lionsgate.
