Day 3 of the 8 days of new Mockingjay Part 1 image reveals on The Hunger Games official instagram features Mahershala Ali as Boggs.

The right hand of District 13, Mahershala Ali joins @TheHungerGames: #Mockingjay Part 1 as #Boggs.

New 'Mockingjay' Set Photos From Berlin Featuring Josh Hutcherson

There's a small batch of new Mockingjay set photos from Berlin today featuring Josh Hutcherson arriving on set and having lunch. Wes Chatham and Natalie Dormer (or her double - hard to confirm) are in another. They're pretty tabloidy, so apologies to those who hate that sort of thing. They're filming at the International Congress Center in Berlin and fans are saying that security is VERY tight there.

It's a news drought, kids, you have no idea how excited we are to see Josh having lunch. And exiting his car. Yep, we need some Mockingjay stills, promo, trailer, anything.

'Mockingjay' set Photos from Tempelhof Airport in Berlin

We're starting to see some of the first pictures from the Mockingjay set at Berlin's Tempelhof Airport thanks to our friends at @HGNewsChannel, PanemTribute, and Jabberjays.net. It looks like they'll be filming some District 2 scenes at this location based on the photos below:

Emotional Scenes Filmed on the 'Mockingjay' Set Today

These will be huge spoilers if you haven't read the book and might leave you emotionally unstable even if you have! All the biggest spoilers are under the cut and they involve Katniss and hijacked Peeta.

There were also some great photos of the cast goofing off between takes.

Major Spoilers on the 'Mockingjay' Set Near Paris - Photos & Video

We'll post all the spoilery pictures under the cut so you can choose to click ahead - or not! The cast and crew was on location at the filming some pretty exciting action sequences featuring the members of Star Squad 451: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Mahershala Ali (Boggs), Sam Claflin (Finnick), Natalie Dormer (Cressida), Wes Chatham (Castor), Omid Abtahi (Homes), Michelle Forbes (Jackson), Evan Ross (Messalla), Elden Henson (Pollux), Kim and Misty Ormiston (Leeg 1 & 2) and Joe Chrest (Mitchell).

We don't know but I'm sure the edits are being created as we speak. And - who knew - Jennifer has her own butt-brusher. I wonder where one applies for this position?

We here at PP can't get enough of all the on set images and video - we've obviously read the book many, many times and it will look so different after production is complete that we aren't feeling too spoiled. But we are very sensitive to those who don't want to see so much of the production and want you to still be able to enjoy coming to the site!

New 'Mockingjay' Set Photos & Video From Paris

Photo thanks to Mockingjay UpdatesParis is a tribute's best friend. There is more out of the Mockingjay set in Noisy le Grand outside Paris today. We have our first glimpse at Mahershala Ali on set as Boggs (with the holo!), Kim and Misty Ormiston on set as Leeg 1 and Leeg 2, and a visual confirmation of Joe Chrest's long-rumored casting as Mitchell. Along with the rest of the Star Squad 451 gang: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Natalie Dormer, Wes Chatham, Omid Abtahi, Michelle Forbes, Evan Ross and Elden Henson.

Obviously, these are all extremely SPOILERY so do not click ahead or view the videos if you are avoiding set spoilers!

Star Squad 451!

Lots fans made it to the set today and got close enough to the action to get some amazing photos and video. Thanks to all of you! This is going to be very spoilery so steer clear if you are avoiding set spoilers. There were scenes filmed today featuring Star Squad 451, and in the photos you can see Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson (in his cuffs - Peeta!), Sam Claflin, Liam Hemsworth, Michelle Forbes (Jackson), Elden Henson (Pollux), Natalie Dormer (Cressida), Evan Ross (Messalla), and Wes Chatham (Castor).

The scenes were shot at Les Espaces d'Abraxas, a unique apartment complex in Noisy-le-Grand outside of Paris. The architecture is really spectacular and makes a great stand-in for part of the Capitol.

Check out some fabulous Mockingjay set photos and video featuring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and a host of Capitol extras in what looks like the scene where the Capitol citizens are evacuating, and Katniss and Gale are making their way from Tigris' shop to Snow Mansion.

Is Lionsgate Using Our Designs in Their Propaganda Posters?

New photos from the set of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay feature a propaganda poster that is flatteringly close to the one our site co-founder and Art Director Dan McCall designed for our site back in 2012. I guess The Capitol is always watching! Hey Lionsgate, need an art director for your marketing campaign? Call me!

New 'Mockingjay' Set Photos Feature Jennifer Lawrence, Capitol Citizens, Peacekeepers

Hooray! New Mockingjay set photos are here! Thanks to the Daily Mail we have a peek at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay set in Atlanta and a tiny sliver of Jennifer Lawrence's beautiful mug inside a voluminous hood (most of the pics feature her stunt double), some Peacekeepers and Capitol citizens.

Looks like Jackson Spidell, who played our District 10 tribute in Catching Fire and was Sam Claflin's stunt double is also playing a Peacekeeper in Mockingjay. He has his helmet off in the photo below.

 

The large stone objects above are called Czech hedgehogs. They are an anti-tank defense that were widely used by Soviets in World War II. Czech hedgehogs were especially effective in urban combat, where a single hedgehog could block an entire street. They became a symbol of "defence at all cost" in the Soviet Union. Sounds like a perfect fit for The Capitol. (thanks to our followers Don Carpenter and Liam Baker for this info!)

Mockingjay Producer Nina Jacobson Tweets a Photo of White Roses. We All Freak Out.

Mockingjay producer Nina Jacobson tweeted a photo of white roses this morning, presumably from the set, with the caption, "Thirteen is alive and well and so am I."

If you're here, you probably already know what Mockingjay scene this line comes from and why we're TOTALLY FREAKING OUT right now. We'll try to keep this spoiler-free for those of you who don't remember or haven't read the books (please go read the books!), but it's the scene where Katniss has a major realization and breakdown after a little "gift" from President Snow. And just thinking about them actually filming this scene today is a lovely little "gift" from Nina Jacobson!

Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth Return To the 'Mockingjay' Set

Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth bundled up as they headed to the Mockingjay set in chilly Atlanta today. Looks like they're both sporting those fabulous (or drab-ulous?) District 13 uniforms.

'Mockingjay Part 1' Filming Resumes Outside Atlanta Today

The Newnan Times-Herald is reporting that Mockingjay Part 1 filming has resumed at the Caldwell Tanks in Newnan, GA as of today.

Just weeks before the release of Catching Fire, the film crew was at Caldwell Tanks building a coliseum set in the largest of the warehouse buildings. The first shoot began on Dec. 18, which only lasted two days. Today, the filming got underway again, though it is unknown for how long they plan to film. The set is obviously closed to the public.

'Mockingjay' Set Photos From Pullman Yard in Atlanta

A blogger from Georgia recently posted some great shots from the Mockingjay set at Pullman Yard in Atlanta, GA. The shots were taken in October when Karen from Georgia Goods decided to head up to her rooftop to see if she could get a better view of the action that was taking place across the street from her home.

We couldn't spot any of the main cast in the pics but there are lots of extras who look like citizens of one of the Districts. What do you think they were filming?

PHOTOS & VIDEO: 'Mockingjay' Set at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA

Mockingjay is filming at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA again! Thanks to some observant fans we've got pictures and video of the action inside the hotel. On Location Vacations reports that one of their Twitter followers, @emileerocks13, let them know that Mockingjay was setting up to shoot a scene in the hotel. Emilee and her friend Meredith let us know that they're filming a rescue scene in The Capitol (PEETA!!) Sunday and Monday with Gale and Boggs. Scroll down to see their pic of Liam Hemsworth and Francis Lawrence on set!

UPDATE: Our follower, Dustin was at the hotel on Monday, Dec 16th and reported the following:

Lots of extras in all black playing unconscious/dead on the Pulse set. Tons of security. Hotel staff on walkies and regular clothed film crew in the hallways. 10th floor being used again. Crew may be wrapping soon on this set. Cake was being passed around to crew.
