The National on Catching Fire Soundtrack

Image credit: The National on Instagram

Music news magazine NME has confirmed that The National will be included on the Catching Fire soundtrack. The original title of the song? "Dying is Easy." It was deemed "too dark," however, and renamed "Lean" by the producers.

"The song was originally called 'Dying Is Easy' and I think that they thought it was a little too dark. But, you know, I get it. It was a really fun project…It was a cool change from how we normally work on things – to write something for something else. It was kind of a pressure release thing and it was fun, we really enjoyed it."

'Catching Fire' Gets an Early PG-13 Rating

No surprises here, but The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been given a PG-13 rating from the MPAA according to Rope Of Silicon. The reason for the rating was lengthy:

Rated PG-13 For intense sequences of violence and action, some frightening images, thematic elements, a suggestive situation and language.
Release Date: November 22, 2013
A suggestive situation, hmmmm? Let's guess which scene that is (I'm looking at you, Johanna).
The exciting thing about this to US is that SOMEONE HAS SEEN THE ENTIRE MOVIE!!!!
Thanks to our follower Steph Johnson (@Midwest1989)  for the excellent tip!

Catching Fire Will Have A Different 'Visual Sense'

Toby Jones (Claudius Templesmith) spoke with MTV's Josh Horowitz at last night's Golden Globe Awards. He gave us a few clues about The Hunger Games: Catching Fire saying director Francis Lawrence brings "a whole different visual sense" and that "they've got a very interesting way that they're going to dramatize the games themselves." He stressed that he couldn't say very much about the movie but what he DID say got us excited!

Catching Fire Set Photos: Josh Hutcherson Ink

The newest set photos from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire feature Josh Hutcherson hanging out on the beach in Hawaii between filming. Josh is sporting some pretty major ink in the photos.

Do they have tattoo parlours in District 12? It looks like he may have gotten those tats in District 4!

Riddle Me This...Jackson Spidell Plays TWO Roles In Catching Fire

We had a little fun with District 10's female tribute, Tiffany Waxler on Twitter last night. She threw down a riddle challenge, and we accepted!

There was a lot of confusion in the fandom about who was in some of the set photos with Josh Hutcherson. A lot of sites and news outlets identified him as Sam Claflin, and one report even thought it might be Liam Hemsworth. Holy Script change, Batman!

Who's that tribute?

We were convinced that it was District 10's male tribute, Jackson Spidell in some of the set photos with Josh Hutcherson. So when Tiffany riddled us this....

We are happy to confirm that Jackson Spidell plays the male tribute from District 10 AND is Sam Claflin's double. Lucky Jackson! We'll be looking VERY closely for him in those arena scenes.

Thanks to Tiffany Waxler for the confirmation and her crazy riddle skills. You can (and should) follow her on twitter: @TiffanyWaxler
