Mockingjay at Comic Con - Preview Night

We are lucky enough to be attending Comic Con this year, and since we couldn't bring all of you with us (though we sure we we could) we'll try to get you as close to the action as possible through pictures and updates. Wednesday night was preview night at Comic Con and Mockingjay Part 1 is a huge presence at the Lionsgate booth - shocker!

You can snap a photo with a peacekeeper at the Samsung Galaxy Hall of Heroes (booth #4045) and see the Capitol Citizen Living Portraits of Peeta Mellark and Johanna Mason, which are actually rotating holograms. Really amazing. 

This ticket being handed out at Lionsgate's booth gets you into the Mockingjay trailer viewings on Friday:

Photo courtesy HypableMembers of the Mockingjay cast will be signing autographs at the Lionsgate booth #4045 on Friday afternoon from 3:00 - 4:00pm. The Mockingjay Part 1 teaser trailer will be presented at the Capitol Gallery in The Hard Rock Hotel on Friday at noon. Get there early and make sure to get your ticket at the Lionsgate booth first! We'll be covering the event and will bring you all the details - spoiler free - about the trailer presentation. 

New 'Mockingjay Part 1' Rebellion Poster Revealed on The Capitol's Instagram

Looks like those crafty rebels hacked ANOTHER one of The Capitol's social media accounts. A new Mockingjay Part 1 rebellion poster was revealed piece by piece on The Capitol's One Panem instagram account this morning. The posts have since been deleted. Check out the poster below:

This poster is the exclusive Comic Con Mockingjay Part 1 poster. Hopefully, we'll get our hands on some copies this weekend - we're at Comic Con this year! We'll keep you posted.

Catching Fire at Comic Con 2013!

Lionsgate will preview a full-length Catching Fire trailer At San Diego Comic Con 2013 at a panel on Saturday, July 20th moderated by Dave Karger from Fandango. Cast members will be on hand to answer questions that YOU can submit to The Hunger Games Facebook page and Fandango's Facebook page

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE Voted by Fandango Fans as Most Anticipated 2013 Movie 

LOS ANGELES – June 26, 2013 – Lionsgate announced today that Fandango Chief Correspondent Dave Karger will moderate a panel on Saturday, July 20th at the San Diego Comic-Con, featuring talent and exclusive footage from two of the studio’s upcoming films THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE (opening November 22, 2013, the film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth) and I, FRANKENSTEIN (opening January 24, 2014, the film stars Aaron Eckhart, Yvonne Strahovski and Bill Nighy).  Talent from both films will be in attendance for the panel during which the studio will debut an exclusive new trailer for THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE and never-before-seen footage from I, FRANKENSTEIN.

Starting today, moviegoers will have the chance to submit questions for panel participants through the films’ Facebook pages (www.facebook.com/thehungergamesmovie and www.facebook.com/ifrankensteinmovie) and Fandango’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/fandango) using the hashtags #CatchingFireComicCon and #IFrankensteinComicCon. Answers to select questions will be posted on those Facebook pages.

Fandango fans have been closely following the entire HUNGER GAMES saga from its first day of production.  A January 2013 moviegoer survey of thousands of moviegoers on Fandango found that the film’s follow-up, THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, was voted the most anticipated movie of the year.
