Josh Hutcherson Premieres 'Paradise Lost' at TIFF & Talks Jennifer Lawrence & 'The Hunger Games'

Josh Hutcherson premiered his upcoming Escobar: Paradise Lost at TIFF and took part in all the requisite promotional activity including a Q&A, portrait sessions and all kinds of press. Check out some of the photos and video, plus a peek at the newest stills from the film (above).

Josh also talked to The Daily Beast about the theft of Jennifer Lawrence's personal photos and The Hunger Games movies while at the film festival.

“It’s fucking horrible,” he says. “I haven’t spoken to her [Jennifer Lawrence] since it happened, but as far as the public, Twitter, and media have reacted, it’s awful. We act because it’s what we want to do. I’ve acted since I was 9 years old because it’s my job, it’s what I’m good at, and it’s what I love to do. I don’t wantattention. I don’t want to have my private life looked into or have people think they deserve to know about my private life. And then people say, ‘Well, then you shouldn’t have become an actor. ’Fuck that. I didn’t choose all that. I chose to be an actor. I was 9 years old! Do you think a 9-year-old is thinking about public scandal? I wanted to make movies." He takes a long pause. “It makes you feel like you want to run away from it all and escape to a small island away from everybody.”

On not being typecast after The Hunger Games films:

“We got lucky!” he says. “I think it helps so much that Jennifer is who she is, and has done the work that she’s done. It gives us more credibility that we’re associated with her, since she’s been nominated for multiple Oscars and won one. Also, The Hunger Games didn’t create us. The makers brought all the cast members onto the project and helped create it. I think that’s a big reason why we’re not tied to it in a negative way.”

On wrapping the series:

“We filmed for nine months on the last one, so everyone was so tired that we didn’t have a big bash at the end,” he says. “I think it was because we were sad. Like, Fuck, this is done. We had a wrap party in Berlin and since we were all staying at the Soho House, we went to the rooftop a lot, but nothing major.”

On Philip Seymour Hoffman:

“I only had the privilege of sharing one scene with Hoffman, this ball dance scene in the last one, but I saw him around on set a lot,” he says. “It’s really crazy and shocking what happened. They had pretty much shot all his stuff, so they’re not going to do any weird, CG things to re-create him. They didn’t have to work around too much.”

Our sincere thanks to JoshHutchersonNews.net for the photos!

BTS Set Photos From 'The Hunger Games' Continuity Books

Theme Park Connection is hosting an ebay auction of over 800 costume pieces from The Hunger Games set, and part of the auction is supposed to be 23 Script Supervisor "continuity books" from the film featuring thousands of behind the scenes photos from the set.

The listing had been taken down at press time but we have a bunch of the photos from the books thanks to our friends at Real or Not Real News. They're fascinating!

Want more info on the auction? Go to ThemeParkConnection or check out their ebay store HERE. When we checked out the auction they had lots of little items like tees, Capitol citizens' hats and ties, etc, but nothing too impressive had been listed yet. The coolest items we saw were a Peacekeeper helmet and boots and an Avox outfit.

Jennifer Lawrence Wins Golden Globe - #Lawrencing Becomes a Thing

Jennifer Lawrence goes to the Golden Globes wearing a Dior dress. Internet breaks. Now #Lawrencing is an actual thing.

Jennifer Lawrence wore what some saw as a slightly duvet cover-ish Dior dress to the Golden Globes and a new internet meme was born. I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous, but the rest of the internet thought the dress was a little, well, like a sleeping bag with two black belts.

The first Lawrencing photos started showing up on social media almost as soon as Jennifer appeared on the Globes red carpet. The first one I saw was from notkatniss. Notkatniss, I believe you started this whole Lawrencing thing. WHAT DID YOU DO??

This was followed quickly by one from Colton Haynes. The version I reblogged on Tumblr was at 110,00 notes the last time I checked. And that was only one post of the photo. I've seen it on every social media platform since then. Well played, Colton.

And now, I give you #LAWRENCING:

Inside The 'Catching Fire' Los Angeles Premiere After Party

Exterior of the Catching Fire after party courtesy The Hob.org

Aerial view of the after party tent from our hotel room window.

Imagine the most epic party you can, sprinkle that with celebrities and models dressed as Capitol people, add a pinch of delicious food catered by Wolfgang Puck then a splash of open bar, and you’ll have the recipe for the Catching Fire premiere after party in Los Angeles on November 18th.

Dan (aka Appius Knoll) and I (Molly, aka Lollia Grey) from PanemPropaganda.com were lucky enough to be invited by Lionsgate to attend the Los Angeles premiere of Catching Fire and the after-party (aka The EVENT OF THE YEAR!) Firstly, the after party invite was the coolest invitation we’ve ever received - a holographic, image of Katniss that changes as you move it. (Check it out in action in Aldrin's video at the bottom of this post.) And YES, we got to keep it!

We walked into the party through a row of men beating giant timpani drums - an excellent touch  lifted right out of the movie’s chariot scene. See Tiffany from Mockingjay.net's video above. That's quite a welcome! This wasn’t just a party, it was like walking into the Victory party at Snow Mansion. Models dressed as Capitol citizens were everywhere, in over-the-top costumes, make-up and wigs. They stayed in character the whole time, snapping pictures with the guests. There were white roses everywhere, food stations and bars wherever you turn, tables piled with colorful desserts, beautiful lighting, and furnished lounge areas set up throughout the event tent.

Photo courtesy TheHob.Org Donald Sutherland was the first cast member we saw at the party, signing autographs and taking pictures with guests. Next, we talked with Francis Lawrence and thanked him, from the whole fandom, for making such an incredible adaptation of our beloved book. He’s really thrilled that the hardcore fans are loving the film adaptation so much. And he’s really nice and a totally normal guy. He told us to make sure to see the film in IMAX. Whatever Franny says, Franny gets. We’ll be seeing the IMAX version tonight!

Speaking of the book, Suzanne Collins was there!! We missed her at the party, but our friend Tiffany from Mockingjay.net spoke with her. Jeffrey Wright introduced them, whatever, no big deal. (SQUEE!!)

The most surreal aspect of the party was seeing celebs just walking around like normal people, grabbing a drink, looking just as shy and awkward as anyone else at a party of 1000 people they don't know that well. And not. Our inner dialogue went something like this: "Oh hey, Chord Overstreet, what'cha doin'? Oh, just moonwalking around the bar, are you? Ok, you have fun with that. Good times. Joe Jonas. Whateves. Yep, that's normal. Nice hat, Matt Damon. Howdy, every tv commentator from every entertainment show, ever. Oh, Hi Dave Karger!" OK, I actually verbalised my hello to Fandango's Chief Correspondent Dave Karger and he is an absolute sweetheart.

Dan and I (Molly) From Panempropaganda with Bruno! Thanks to Sheila from HGGirlonFire for snapping it.We met Bruno Gunn, and he’s as awesome as he seems on twitter. Almost everyone from the cast was there: Elizabeth Banks, Alan Ritchson, Lynn Cohen, Jeffrey Wright, Woody Harrelson, Jena Malone, Willow Shields, Meta Golding, Trish Summerville, E. Roger Mitchell, Megan Hayes, Elena Sanchez, Nelson Ascencio, Bruce Bundy, Patrick St. Esprit (Thread). Some of our former Hunger Games tributes were walking around the party too: Jackie Emerson, Dayo Okeniyi, Isabelle Fuhrman, Jack Quaid were all wandering around having fun. Even some of our Mockingjay cast members were there! We saw Evan Ross (Messalla) hanging out with his girlfriend Ashley Simpson and Wes Chatham (Castor). Sadly, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth went straight from the premiere to New York City to do more press and a screening on 11/20.

Sam holding court - and that's Amanda from The Hob, too! Photo by The Fandom.netSam Claflin was holding court at a lounge area surrounded by security. If this is the barometer of his future fame, this guy is going to be a HUGE star. There were so many people crowded around, trying to get a moment with Sam. It was insane. We happened to be walking by when this epicness happened:

When Finnick met Annie. Sam Claflin meets Stef Dawson. Photo by The Hob.org

This is the moment our Finnick met our Annie! Sam and Stef Dawson had never met until the this moment at the after party. Someone brought her over, and they had an adorable meeting surrounded by dozens of fans. When we talked with the very lovely Stef Dawson later, she confirmed that this was their first meeting. She was totally gracious and hung out and chatted with us for a long time. She’s really excited to get started on Mockingjay and super happy to be a part of the “family.” She is like a delicate, gorgeous little fairy. She’ll be just PERFECT as Annie.

Stef Dawson, Molly (that's me!) from PanemProp & Tiffany from Mockingjay.Net.As the night wound down, we got a chance to meet Sam Claflin. He has to be one of the kindest celebs around and seems as though he’s having the time of his life. He hung out talking with us until his handlers dragged him away to go back to his hotel (it was after 1:00am), he even showed us photos of his dog Rosie on his cell phone (she’s adorable)! And I got a huge hug, which I will not soon forget. Sigh. Not over it.

Sam is an epic hugger. Thanks to Amamda from TheHob.org for snapping the picture!!

We closed down the party with E. Roger Mitchell. Being the last to leave the Catching Fire After Party with our Chaff was a pretty awesome way to end the night.

Dan and I from PP closing down the after party with our Chaff, E. Roger Mitchell!

Check out Aldrin from HungerGamesDWTC's fantastic vlog of the party. He really captured it!

Special thanks to our amazing fan site friends at Mockingjay.net, The Hob.Org, HGGirlOnFire, HungerGamesDWTC, VictorsVillage, HungerGamesTrilogy.Net, HungerGamesMovie.Org, TheFandom.Net, WelcomeToDistrict12.com, and MyHungerGames! Most of these pictures and video are from their cameras - so thank you guys for snapping such great pictures. And be sure to check out THEIR after party coverage as well.

And huge thanks to Lionsgate for an unforgettable weekend.

Recap: Victory Tour at Cherry Hill Mall

Top photos courtesy TheHob.org & Hunger GamesDWTC.com

Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright, Bruno Gunn, and Meta Golding were your Victors at the Victory Tour stop at Cherry Hill Mall today! Thanks to the coverage by The Hob and Hunger Games Down With The Capitol, who attended today's event, we have some great photos, Q&A coverage, and video from the tour stop.

 Video thanks to noplaceforgirlonfire.tumblr.com

Sam Claflin said he relates to Finnick's insecurities hidden under a charming persona. He spoke about his transformation into Finnick, particularly the "six pack, tan, and waxed chest". He also spoke about how much he enjoyed the experience of working with the amazing cast, and, our favorite bit, said that the Hunger Games fans are like his family.

Jena Malone loved going to the gym to train and not only matching the men but beating them. She  spent a lot of time chopping with an axe. She even called herself the biggest fan from the cast before filming, as she read all 3 books in 48 hours. She said "We are too old to be the revolution. YOU are the revolutionaries! Take it! Kill it!"

Jeffrey Wright said how much he likes being part of the solution to a corrupt government, and it's something he feels people can relate to. If he could choose another character (besides Beetee) to be from the Hunger Games, it would be Peeta. He says his favorite character is Peeta because Josh Hutcherson is so cute (!!) and his soldier's journey is incredible. All the cast members put their mics in s face when he was asked how he would combat the Capitol in real life, and he said he would fight the Capitol just how Beetee did it. He talked about the relaxed nature of the set, and said that the movie ROCKS!

Bruno Gunn's favorite bit of being a part of the series is meeting all of the fans. He admires the respect and passion everyone has for The Hunger Games.

Meta Golding likes her sharpened teeth, and called Enobaria a "badass" rather than a "baddie". She also said she threw up on the second day of training for the role, and was worried about whether she could complete it or not. Her favourite character is Katniss, and she loves the concept of surviving in the Hunger Games.

Special thanks to TheHob.org and HungerGamesDWTC for their great coverage of the event all the photos!

Stay tuned for our coverage of the Victory Tour stop at Mall of America on Tuesday, Nov 5th. Please say hello to Dan from our site if you're attending!
