New Hacks Available at District13.co.in

As if today wasn't filled with enough Mockingjay goodness already, there's a new hack on the mobile District 13 site AND some new stuff on the desktop version: district13.co.in

Head to the desktop site and underneath "The Mockingjay Lives" you'll see the following copy:

We are the seekers of truth. We believe in the Mockingjay. Our districts burn, but we withstand the flames. And we will fight even after our hearts stop beating. The Capitol will feel our fury. And soon it will feel yours.

Right under the "Take Down The Capitol" you'll see a green square. If you click it, it opens Cressida's confidential file that includes "new intel."

You'll also be able to click on another green square diagonally up and to the right of the first, "c_concerns VDO." Click it for a short gif from the film. Looks like District 7 and they are NOT having a good day. Bad peacekeepers!

You can also complete Hack 2 on your mobile device at m.district13.co.in, and you'll uncover the REAL Capitol Concerns of the citizens of Panem. We had a hard time with this one - we got several error messages and then had a tough time actually completing the mobile hack on one of our phones. Let us know how it works out for you!

'Mockingjay Part 1' Worldwide Trailer Debuts

Hope truly IS stronger than fear. The long-awaited Mockingjay Part 1 theatrical trailer finally debuted today at TheHungerGamesExclusive.com.

Though the trailer is shorter than the average theatrical trailer, it still packed an epic emotional punch, showing us more of our beloved Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, and her transition from survivor to reluctant leader of Panem's rebellion.

And Everlark lovers REJOICE! We got a hearbreaking peek at Peeta Mellark in the Capitol and Katniss' first look at him. "You're alive."

The new trailer deftly illustrates what Francis Lawrence has been saying about the narrative of Part 1: “With Mockingjay – Part I it’s tricky because Peeta is out of reach for her. Obviously he becomes an objective for her, but Gale is right there, so that’s always a tricky situation. Those objectives became the motives for us."

"Miss Everdeen, it's the things we love most that destroy us." will be haunting us forever.

Tickets for Mockingjay Part 1 go on sale October 29th!

Behind the Scenes of 'Mockingjay Part 1' With The Hunger Games Exclusive

The Hunger Games Exclusive Series 2 debuted today along with the Mockingjay Part 1 worldwide trailer. The new issue is packed with behind the scenes photos and exclusive interviews with the cast including Q & As with Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Natalie Dormer, character close-ups of Boggs, Pollux, Castor and Messalla, and, of course, the epic new trailer (see it HERE).

There is far too much to post here but check out a couple of our favorite photos from the site, and some lovely quotes from Jennifer Lawrence:

Josh and Liam are my best friends. And we’ve got the best crew that we’ve known for years. I don’t have to be ‘on’ all the time in front of them because they feel like my family.”

Jennifer on what she kept as a memento from the set:

The bow! Our props master told me that he could get me a new one because they made a few of them. But I want the one that Katniss is using while we shoot. It’s all scratched up. That bow means a lot to me.

See it all at TheHungerGamesExclusive.com. And check out our gallery for more images from 'Mockingjay Part 1.'

What Memento Josh Hutcherson Kept From 'The Hunger Games' + More of His Thoughts on the Photo Hack

Josh Hutcherson spoke with KISS 92.5 in Toronto during TIFF and had a LOT to say about the Jennifer Lawrence photo hacking.

“These are crimes,” he said of the massive hack. “These are absolutely crimes against human rights.”

“The fact that people react the way they do and look at that,” said Hutcherson, “It’s so unbelievably embarrassing to have somebody look into your private life,” he said. “It’s really disheartening to see that this is where the world of entertainment has gone and it’s gone that way because of greed and media and people feeling like they deserve something and have a right to something that they absolutely do not.”

Hutcherson said he hasn’t spoken to Lawrence since her photos were posted online.

“Everybody deals with those sort of situations on their own, in their own ways,” he said.

“None of us signed up for our private lives to be made public,” he said. “I started acted when I was nine years old, Jen started when she was 12. You don’t have this idea of celebrity at that age. You have the idea of wanting to make movies and have a passion for storytelling. It’s what we’re good at. It’s what we do. It’s not like we just made this choice and decided ‘Oh yeah, I want to be an actor because I want to make movies but also there’s a fame element…’ No, we didn’t think like that. At least I didn’t and I know Jen didn’t.”

Josh recently saw the finished The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which is set for release in November.

“I loved it. I’m so proud of it. I’m so glad that they split it into two movies because there’s so much that happens in that third book that if you tried to squeeze it into one two hour movie you would have lost so much,”

Hutcherson insisted fans will be thrilled by Mockingjay.

“It’s really dark, it’s really intense and the way you see how these characters try to recover and then build up a counterstrike against what they’ve experienced is really intense,” he said. “You’re absolutely going to love it.”

The star said it was hard to wrap production and walk away from cast and crew who worked together for a big part of the past four years.

“We’ve gone through some big changes together, just personally and professionally, that it’s hard to know that you’re not going to be 12 hours every day for months at a time with them,” said Hutcherson. “We’re still close, we’re still friends, we talk all the time — but it’s not the same so I’m definitely going to miss it.”

Did Hutcherson take a souvenir from District 12?

“I actually took the pendant that I gave Katniss — the one that opens and has the picture of her family, from that scene on the beach. I took that. It’s my one memento,” he confessed.

“It’s in my house in my desk drawer. I’m going to try to purposefully lose it — but in a way that I know I will find it in the future.”

What we wouldn't give to have been in that room today! Can't wait to hear the score.

The Hanging Tree scene in Mockingjay Part 1 is one of the scenes Nina is most excited for the fans to see. She mentioned it in the Filmmaker Roundtable in Series 1 of TheHungerGamesExclusive.com:

I'm excited about what Francis Lawrence and [screenwriter] Peter Craig dreamed up for 'The Hanging Tree.' [They] came up with an incredible way of turning a powerful moment in the book into great big cinema."

Elizabeth Banks Says Goodbye to Effie and The Hunger Games: "I Cried My Eyes Out"

Josh Horowitz got to spend a little time with Elizabeth Banks at Tiff while she was promoting her film Love and Mercy and, excellent fanboy that he is, Josh asked about Mockingjay wrapping up for good.

"It's done. I never get to play that role again, it's so sad. I cried my eyes out. I love, love, love Effie so much. I really love her and, yeah, it's over."

Horowitz said he was relieved that we get to see a little bit more of Effie in the last two films than the book would dictate. Banks replied, "They did [write a little bit more of Effie into the films]. I got lucky. It was VERY flattering and fun story for her actually. REALLY fun. To go from The Capitol to District 13 is a shock for anybody. I like how I talk about it like it's real life. (laughs) Anyway, she's there. She's the fish out of water. It's fun."

Elizabeth Banks on Effie and Mockingjay: "It's a True Action Movie"

Elizabeth Banks has been making the rounds to promote her involvement with Doritos Crash The Super Bowl Contest. E Online got a little bit of Mockingjay Part 1 and Effie information out of her during their recent interview.

How Effie maintains her style in District 13

“Effie really is a fish out of water in District 13 and they do not have anywhere near the resources that the Capitol does. So Effie really finds herself having to what I like to call ‘Project Runway her way’ through the wardrobe that’s given to everyone. Everyone gets sort of standard wardrobe in District 13 and she of course has to put her own twist on everything…she can make anything fabulous."

Book vs. Movie Effie

“Well she [Effie] doesn’t make an appearance in District 13 in the actual book, but Suzanne Collins and Francis [Lawrence] and I…everyone sort of came to me and said ‘We really feel like Effie…it would be really fun to keep her involved in the story’ and of course I’m thrilled to be a part of it and get to go to 13 and take care of Katniss a little bit longer.”

What she thinks of the film (aka press kit sound bites)

“I’m really thrilled with the way it’s turned out. I think Francis [the director] has a really interesting take on the material and it’s a continuation of the story of Katniss and she’s one of my favorite heroines of all time. The scope and scale is huge. It’s really a true action film now, we’re not just in the Games anymore, we’ve really upped the stakes of the movie. It’s really about a full scale rebellion and a war between the Capitol and the Districts. So all the action sequences are just amazing and upgraded…action-movie level stuff going on, not just the story of a small-town girl.”

Elizabeth on the Mockingjay cast

“I mean we really have a lot of comradery. We’ve been through a lot making the movies. It’s very rare in this business that you get to spend this much time with the same people, over and over again on something that we all care about a lot. And we really want to make a great product every time and we want to have fun while we do it and we just have really great shared perspective on the whole thing."

'Mockingjay Part 1,' Sam Claflin, and Julianne Moore in Empire's Winter Preview Issue

Sam Claflin and Julianne Moore talk Mockingjay Part 1 in the October issue of Empire Magazine. In Empire's Winter Preview Sam talks about living up to the first two Hunger Games films, while Julianne Moore remembers Philip Seymour Hoffman and says that Jennifer Lawrence is "very, very easy to love." There's also a small feature on Sam's upcoming film, The Riot Club.

Julianne Moore recently came full circle after filming a prominent role in the last installments of The Hunger Games - the fourthcoming two-parter Mockingjay - where she worked for a final time with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Moore features as President Alma Coin, another high-profile co-star for Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss. "I did the bulk of my work on the film with Phil," she says, quietly. Hoffman was her friend and co-star from Boogie Nights, The Big Lebowski and Magnolia. "He had pretty much completed shooting, so I had done all my work with him..."Her voice trails off, a cue for Empire to move on.

She must've also enjoyed re-teaming with Hunger Games mainstay Woody Harrelson, we inquire (the two having worked together on The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio and the TV picture Game Change, where Moore played Sarah Palin)? "Oh yes," she coos. "It was great fun to be with Woody and sometimes you forgot you were in this dystopian fantasy. Then someone would walk by with half their head shaved and there would be weird things coming out of the back of them and you were like, 'Oh yeah, this is a fantasy movie!'"

Moore's route into The Hunger Games came, somewhat predictably, through her two children. She picked up her daughter's copy of the first book in the series while on holiday, when her kids were playing table tennis. "I thought it was great and my children love these books, so for them it is very exciting for me to be in the franchise. Generally, I make movies that they can't see! And they both love Jennifer Lawrence. She is very, very easy to love."
