Our Cinna and renaissance man, Lenny Kravitz was just featured in an article on THR.com in which he discusses his design firm Kravitz Design, Inc and his new set design for Queen Latifah's upcoming talk show. While we absolutely LOVE Lenny's design sensibility, we were REALLY intrigued by the tiny Catching Fire tidbit at the end of the article. SPOILER ALERT!
In Catching Fire, out Nov. 22, his fashion-designer character, Cinna, will meet a violent end.
"After my death scene, everyone's like, 'Oh shit, you're not coming back!' But you move on," he laughs. "It was fun while it lasted." While filming, he also was recording a new album, due out in the spring, at night. "Basically, I didn't sleep for about a month. But I was high off of the creativity," he says. "That sustained me."
Be sure to read the rest of the article and catch up on all of Lenny's design projects here.

He'll be a guest on LIVE With Kelly & Michael on Thursday, 8/8 and will headline the opening ceremonies of the US Open tennis tournament on Mon, 8/26.
Lenny Kravitz (Cinna) made an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night and played an all-star version of Pictionary with Jimmy, Jennifer Aniston and Cee-Lo Green. He also sat down with Fallon and talked about his acting career and got a surprise viewing of a very old commercial he did as an adorable little guy.
We all know that Lenny Kravitz is one stylish man. The singer and actor opened up about his costumes for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire as he returns to the role of Cinna. And it sounds like Cinna is a lot more like Lenny Kravitz, as far as the "look" goes.
"The clothing this time was more in line with how I dress," he told HitFix during Comic-Con. "I felt like I was wearing my own things throughout the film."
Our Cinna, Lenny Kravitz, will be featured on a new episode of Oprah's Master Class on Sunday, June 2nd.
From Zap2it:
The multi-Grammy Award-winning artist, producer and actor Lenny Kravitz talks about how his mixed cultural background influenced his signature retro music style and how he challenged the industry with his unconventional image. Raised in a biracial family (his mother is Roxy Roker known for her character Helen Willis on the hit 70’s sitcom “The Jeffersons” and father is Sy Kravitz NBC news producer of Russian-Jewish descent), Kravitz opens up about his upbringing and how his father’s infidelity affected him as a young boy. Plus, he reveals more about his marriage to actress Lisa Bonet (“The Cosby Show”) and his relationship with daughter, Zoë.
And hopefully he'll have something to say about The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, too!
